My name is Melissa, the owner of Empress of the Night’s Light LLC, and I help people come home to themselves through deep reflection, radical acceptance, and self-healing.  I am a tarot reader, astrologer, breathworker, writer, and alchemist who helps people find new direction along their healing journeys.  We all have moments where we feel lost or confused along our life path, and I’m here to help others find their way again.  We work together to find answers on next steps depending on what the cards tell us, as well as how to best navigate our stars using our natal chart alongside the current transits happening in the sky.  Seeing these things more clearly, we breathe together and work through any stored energy that may be present in our bodies and slowly release it together.  All of this helps us reconnect with the spark, the light inside of us, that can be dimmed as we navigate our world.  I also create fun merch, including shirts, mugs, totes, and more just for funsies.

I have an academic background in mental health as well as higher education, and I use these learnings to help me help others.  Alongside my educational experiences, I have several personal experiences that help me help others as well, including my own experiences with addiction and recovery, and growing up with a mentally ill mother.  I’ve been reading tarot for about 25 years, and learning astrology for just over 20 years.  I’ve been operating my business since January of 2021, and have enjoyed being a helper.   I feel as if it is my mission on this earth to help others.

It all began with my daughter’s eczema.  Store-bought products weren’t giving us the results we hoped for, so I turned to nature.  After researching on our tribal website, I discovered that dandelions could help treat eczema.  They worked wonders, but the redness and inflammation persisted.

That’s when I found out about the benefits of magnesium.  Adding it to the treatment made all the difference—her flare-ups became minimal!

But this journey didn’t just stop at eczema.  As someone who struggles with anxiety and sleepless nights, I learned that magnesium can also calm the nervous system.   Desperate for relief, I applied the lotion under my arms one night and slept soundly for the first time in weeks.  I felt calmer, less irritated, and more focused during the day.

I started sharing it with loved ones, including my mom, who suffers from neuropathy.  At first, she was skeptical, but during a particularly stressful moment, she gave it a try.  Twenty minutes later, she texted me: “It worked. I need more!”   Now, she uses it daily for pain relief and better sleep.

I am an expert Animal Communicator with many years of experience, Animal Reiki Master Teacher, Energy Healer, Ho-oponopono Practitioner, and Author.

My mission is to help animals and their humans to a deeper level of understanding through communication and energy balance.  I offer Animal Communication sessions, Animal Reiki, and Energy Healing and I also teach Animal Communication Classes and Animal Reiki.  I have worked with countless species of animals around the world in a broad range of habitats and situations including: pets at home; farms; zoos; working animals such as sled dogs; K-9 and military animals; rescues and shelters; sanctuaries; and animals nearing or in transition.

I created the original art and authored the guidebook for my original Dogs Universe 1 Oracle deck set – which is the first ever in the world oracle deck created for working with an animal, and with messages and guidance for the animal.

Debra is a Reiki Master with many other modalities such as biofield tuning, sound baths, Reiki Master teacher, Sacred Rose Healing, La Ho Chi and the creations of “The Trees Speak” Oracle Deck.  Debra loves hosting events, creating, sharing, teaching, reading cards and the outdoors to name a few.  You will rarely see her without her husband, Lyle, and their faithful German Shephard, Ruger, by her side.

When she is not doing these modalities, she is restoring homes after fire and water damage, with her husband and team at D & L Restoration Specialist’s.

The Living Well is a family owned Chiropractic and Acupuncture clinic owned by Kevin and Brianne Levandoski. 

Dr. Kevin is a pediatric certified brain based chiropractor who specializes in kiddos with any type of neurodivergence.  He has worked with kids who struggle with ear infections to autism and everything in between.

Dr. Brianne is the acupuncturist who is also a doctor of Tradition Chinese Medicine.  She specializes in fertility struggles and women’s health

Adrienne is a practicing Gray Witch for over 30 years, Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher, Tarot Instructor, Divination Witch, and Intuitive with the occasional big Psychic hit.  She practices and studies both light and dark paths in order to better see the balances between them, and uses this knowledge in the majority of her work.

Growing up Michael faced numerous health challenges, including scoliosis, digestive issues, and breathing problems.  Despite the constant pain, he remained active and passionate about sports, particularly soccer, golf, skiing and martial arts, loving spending as much time outdoors as possible.  During his college years, he decided to channel his health struggles into a pursuit of knowledge in health.  After earning a bachelor’s degree in Health and Fitness Management from Northern Michigan University, he discovered the C.H.E.K. Institute, which sparked his deep dive into holistic health.  This journey continues to teach him about the profound connection between the body, mind and the crucial role emotions play in overall well-being.

Over the past 15 years, he has had the privilege of helping individuals and groups of all ages on their health journeys.

He is currently studying Neuro Kinetic Therapy (NKT) and completing a Mindfulness Meditation Instructor Training course.

Dr. Lara Stephens-Brown attended veterinary school at the University of Minnesota after graduating from MSHS.  She spent time learning from specialists in New England and came back to Marquette in 2019.  Dr. Lara, CVSMT, CoAC attended an intensive 6 month course in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy and is the only veterinarian in Marquette County with this additional training.  She enjoys equine and canine sports medicine, dentistry, metabolic disease management, and geriatric care. She is excited to offer this modality to the dogs, cats, horses, and other animals of the central UP!

Victoria Bullock (she/her) is a Spirit Communicator/Psychic Medium and published author.  She has been practicing Spirit communication for over ten years.  She has participated in many Mediumship development circles (many of which were taught by international psychic mediums).  She has offered her services at a variety of local events, along with live Tarot readings on an online site called Spirit Speak.  She loves all things metaphysical while also loving life in the physical.  Her primary message is; “The world is an Oracle.  We are always being worked with, we are never alone, and we are Loved”.

I’ve always said my journey began with my daughter but it really started long before her with the care of my animals.  I had a deep dive introduction from a friend into homeopathy, muscle testing, and chiropractic work for my dogs as we competitively raced in sled dog races.  Their care is extremely important and the more I knew how to do naturally the better off we could be on the trail.

This is how I got into animal bodywork (kinesiology, body alignment, massage, and more).  Reiki and energy work connected me on a whole different level than I was used to.

When my daughter was born with eczema, that turned my brain on towards the medicinal plant parts of the equation and working with essential oils, hydrosols, and herbs.

That is what now is the basis of my products offered today. I grow all the plants and herbs in my garden, hand harvest, and process my products all on my own for both people and pets.

Add in my work with herbs, essential oils, and meridian balancing and there isn’t much limit to the possibility of healing and improving life.
