About the Presenters
Presenter: Jenny Ciurro
Organization: Musical Zen with Jenny
Presentation: Regulating Self Through SEL & Sound Therapy for Kids and Caregivers
About the Presentation: This calming, interactive workshop is designed to help children and their parents slow down, reconnect, and explore mindfulness through somatic breathwork, movement, and sound. Families will learn simple, accessible tools to support emotional balance, focus, and relaxation.
Through guided listening, mindful awareness, breathwork, gentle movement, and instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and drums, children can explore sound and vibration while parents learn techniques they can use at home. Families will leave with practical tools for creating calm, strengthening connection, and using sound as a gentle anchor in everyday life.

Presenter: Nitya Sri
Organization: Northwoods Ayurveda & Integrative Care
Presentation: Intro to Ayurveda: Daily Routine
About the Presentation: Dinacharya, Ayurveda’s practice of daily routine, teaches us to align our habits with nature’s rhythms — restoring balance before illness ever takes root. In this class, we’ll explore foundational practices like rising before sunrise, tongue scraping, self-massage (abhyanga), and eating in tune with your unique constitution (dosha). You’ll leave with a simple daily rhythm rooted in a 5,000-year-old tradition of self-care.
With a Master’s in Psychology and ten years in private practice as a psychotherapist, I bring a deep understanding of the mind-body connection to my work. Six years ago, Ayurveda entered my life not as a professional pursuit but as a personal one — through my own healing journey, its wisdom transformed how I understood health, balance, and daily living. That experience continues to shape how I teach: with compassion, practicality, and respect for each person’s unique path. I’m honored to share the tools of dinacharya as both a clinician and a fellow traveler on this path toward wellbeing.
