Since June 2020, Jen has been certified as an Oola Life Coach and in July 2021, she became an Oola Founding Ambassador. With life pulling us in different directions every day, it is difficult to find balance in our lives. With the Oola lifestyle framework, Jen guides adults and teens through the 7 F’s of Oola (Fitness, Finance, Family, Field, Faith, Friends & Fun), as well as what is blocking you from and what can accelerate you to your goals and dreams. Providing clients with a variety of programs and products that help them rebalance their lives. Amanda is an intuitive guide for highly sensitive people who want to take conscious ownership of their lives through embracing wholeness of mind, body and spirit.

As a Life-Wellness-Business Coach Amanda combines her skills as an empath with somatic understanding, shadow work, and energy healing to assist her clients as they embrace their whole Self.

Amanda lives in the central Upper Peninsula with her husband and three children. There they live on the family farm, where they raise grass fed and finished beef, raise and milk goats, and enjoy gardening.  Amanda has a passion for holistic wellness with an extensive knowledge in essential oils and herbs.

Jennifer is originally from Wisconsin, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin Stout and a Master’s in Counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Board Certified Telemental Health Provider, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. In 2021, she completed the University of Michigan Sexual Health Certificate Program, sex therapist and sexuality education tracks.

Jennifer works full-time as a generalist counselor at Northern Michigan University and maintains a community private practice, Clearwater Counseling and Supervision (https://www.clearwaterccs.com), specializing in sex and couples therapies.

Courtney holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Northern Michigan University and a Masters in Social Work from Michigan State University. She is currently employed in a private practice setting in which she provides mental health therapy services for a variety of ages, including children and their families, in areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, and parenting. Endorsed as an Infant Mental Health
Specialist with the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health, Courtney has several years experience working with pregnant women, infants, and young children to promote positive relationships, attachment, and social emotional development of children. She also provides reflective supervision and social
emotional consultation to early childhood programs across the UP. Born and raised in Marquette, Courtney enjoys immersing herself in the beautiful outdoors and culture that this area has to offer with her family.

About Debra: Due to her deep love of the woods, animals and nature and her cabin on a lake near the Hiawatha National Forrest Debra created Hiawatha Wellness LLC. Debra is a Reiki Master with many other modalities such as biofield tuning, sound baths, Reiki Master teacher, End of Life Doula and the creations of “The Trees Speak” Oracle Deck. Debra loves hosting events, creating, sharing, teaching, reading cards and the outdoors to name a few. You will rarely see her without her husband Lyle and their faithful German Shephard, Ruger, by her side. Carolyn Provencher is a national board certified acupuncturist serving the Marquette area.  She attended Northern Michigan University before receiving her 4-year Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado.  Since receiving her Diplomate of Acupuncture
certification in 2014, Carolyn has practiced acupuncture professionally in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and is a co-founder of the Trailhead Holistic Health Cooperative clinic in Marquette.

Carolyn is author of A Journal of Self-Reflection & Healing and coauthor of Tao Meets Now: A Clinical Manual Integrating 5 Element Acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine, a textbook written for clinical acupuncturists.

Carolyn and her husband, Evan, have two kids (Drew & Grayson).  Over the years they have also hosted exchange students from all over the world.  Together they love exploring the Upper Peninsula and all that it has to offer.

Meet Amy Turner. Amy has been masterfully coaching clients through boundary setting and self connection with a holistic approach to success for the past ten years (and counting!). She is an inspired Emotional Wellness Life Coach and the creator of Apiary Life Studio in downtown Ishpeming. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Amy relocated her family to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula due to increasing wildfires in her home state, bringing her expertise and passion for empowerment to this area. With her hallmark skills of deep listening and real talk, she has created a multitude of custom programs and tools to help clients connect to their resilience and inspiration for greater success in life, relationships and work. Anna Zimmer

Presentation Topic: Gentle Chair Yoga for Every Body

Anna Zimmer completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2017 at the Nirinjan Dev School of Yoga.  She then taught regularly at Rohana Yoga in Marquette for three years. Since then, she enjoys offering free yoga practices for local organizations. Also a professor at Northern Michigan University, Anna especially relishes the opportunity to share yoga with colleagues and students.
